Begin with gentle yet dynamic movement, syncing breath with body in order to move out any energy that is stagnant and create flow in the body and mind. Once the flow is created we are able to then settle into a calm and quiet, grounding practice of yin and restorative postures to nourish the nervous system, body, mind, and heart. Through this balanced and present practice you will learn how to connect to and take refuge in your body and your breath. Come move, stretch, and de-stress your whole being. All levels and all bodies are welcome.

Awaken your vital energy and life force, otherwise known as prana or qi. You will learn about the different directions your prana flows within your physical body, how both your internal and external environments contribute to and affect your energy, mind, and mood, and how to control these with bodymind practices. Find more flow and connection throughout your day, and ultimately throughout your life.

Each morning session you will be guided in:

~gentle yet invigorating and balancing qigong or mindful movement

~clearing and balancing breathwork

~inner reflection practices to awaken your body, energy, mind, and spirit

Therapeutic Yoga and Sound Healing

Therapeutic Yoga and Sound Healing are remedies for the challenges of our stressful times, and blends restorative yoga with guided breath-work and sound healing.  Accompanied by the healing sounds of various instruments, you will be gently guided to relax into postures that allow for deep relaxation and restoration of the entire body including tight muscles, restricted fascia, overstimulated nervous systems, and an overactive or out of balanced mind, resetting and restoring a natural rhythm to your whole being. The practice creates a calm, supportive and nurturing environment in which you can relax and let go, allowing the innate wisdom of your body to naturally restore balance and well-being. Whether you just need to decompress from stress, recover from injury or if you’re dealing with chronic illness, this workshop will help your body, mind and spirit to relax, rejuvenate, and heal. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
